Situated in the North Male, and a 50-minute speed boat transfer from the Male International Airport, OBLU NATURE Helengeli by SENTIDO is a good quality 4* property.
With 153 rooms over 8 categories, this resort is big enough to have a wide range of facilities and a good atmosphere but without the mass market feel of some of the larger 4* resorts. The all-Inclusive Island Plan represents great value for money and as a group, the Atmosphere hotels maintain an excellent reputation for quality across their restaurants and all-inclusive packages including the Raga Route which is the new progressive Indian restaurant. Non-motorized water sports, snorkeling equipment & two other excursions are included in the all-inclusive package. All villas offer value-added amenities such as free WIFI, a minibar that is replenished daily with beer, non-alcoholic carbonated beverages, and drinking water. Beach essentials such as tote bags and umbrellas are also provided for its guests. The resort also has a newly opened Eco-themed kid's club with a nature center, and new Water Villas with pools, and family rooms that have a fully interconnecting 2 Bedroom family Beach Villa with Pool, as well as Deluxe Beach Villas with Pool.
The Helengeli Island, is renowned for its exotic house reef, with its resident silver-tipped sharks, lobsters & giant sea turtles – all accessible with a short swim from the property. The dive school caters to all levels of divers and there are over 20 diving spots on offer.
Meals are taken in the main 'Spice' Restaurant, with one fine dining experience at the specialty ‘Just Grill’, that is included in the stay. Regular alcohol, cocktails, and wine (by the glass) are included in the package as well.
The Travel Gallery Take – in the 4* all-inclusive market, the OBLU NATURE Helengeli by SENTIDO is one of our favourite properties. We like the personal feel of the resort & its overwater villas with pool (each accessed from the beach) as some of the best value for money water villas in the Maldives – and as long as you aren’t looking to be at the end of a long jetty. Previously this property was known as OBLU Nature Helengeli, however after being refurbished during the early months of 2023, the resort reopened in December 2023 as OBLU NATURE Helengeli by SENTIDO. The main focus of the resort is to bring nature lovers and divers close to its tropical environment, above and below the water.
