Located in the South Ari Atoll, and a 25-minute seaplane transfer from the Male International airport, Constance Moofushi is an All-inclusive 5* resort in the South Ari Atoll.
With 110 rooms in total, all Beach and Water villas are styled contemporarily in chic comfort. While the Beach Villas are on a sandy white beach, with a go at playing volleyball and a Totem bar at the doorstep, the Water Villas are at the beginning of the jetty, and some of these have sunset views. For added privacy, the Senior Water Villas are an option as they offer better seclusion than the other rooms.
There are 2 restaurants for guests on an All-inclusive basis - the MANTA restaurant having the main buffet, inclusive of kids’ meal options. From Maldivian specialities to other international fares – the restaurant also features a wine cellar with a large selection of wine from the world over. Whilst some wines are included on an all-inclusive basis, another 300 labels on the wine list are chargeable. There is an over-water extension of the restaurant which allows guests to dine with the view of the ocean, while the floors are paved with sand enabling guests to relax at a seaside retreat. The second option is the fine dining restaurant ALIZÉE - which offers an a la carte menu such as Wagyu beef, yellowfin tuna, or caviar, and a local fish and seafood charcoal grill selection to dine by the beach. Two bars at the property – the Manta Bar and the Totem Bar offer a wide selection of drinks, signature cocktails, and mocktails. At night dance to the beats of the DJ, or sit near the pool to enjoy the sunsets with a smoothie or freshly brewed ice teas.
Rest and relaxation at its best, unwind at the Constance Spa with classic massages, facials, and body treatments using aromatherapy. Not ignoring fitness, a well-equipped gym with cardio, free weights and strength machines are available as well as a yoga pavilion. Other activities include motorized and non-motorized water sports - windsurfing, kayaking, pedal boating, and snorkelling excursions (equipment included). For an extra cost, set off on a dhoni and get dropped off on a private island for a full or a half-day excursion, sunset cruises, viewing dolphins on a speedboat, visit a local village, night fishing, or dive to some of the best diving sites in the Maldives to watch Manta rays.
The Travel Gallery Take – some hotels continue to deliver dependable service year after year and Constance Moofushi is definitely in this category. The All-Inclusive program has a reputation for good food and drinks – the restaurant choice is limited but of high quality. The water villas are popular and relatively well priced. Generally, we recommend it for couples and families with older children.
