Located on the North Malé Atoll, Maldives, and a 15-minute complimentary speed boat transfer from the Malé International airport, OBLU XPErience Ailafushi is a brand new 4* All-inclusive resort from the Atmosphere Group of hotels.
With 268 rooms in 4 categories with a mix of Beach, Water, Ocean view Family rooms, and Ocean view one-bedroom villas, there is room to suit families, couples, or friends holidaying together. The Ocean view one-bedroom villas are built with white walls, wooden floors, and decorated vibrantly to suit younger families. While the Beach Villas with a spacious bathroom, marble vanity, and outdoor shower area, garden, and a private veranda leading to the beach (a few metres from the lagoon) is better suited for couples.
The Ocean view family rooms (to host larger families) consist of 2 bedroom and 2-bathroom villas that are located right at the centre of the island. Duplex style with modern amenities, ample storage, and modern décor; the master bedroom interconnects to a second room which is furnished with bunk beds to accommodate children.
The other category, the Water villas (shaped like a traditional Maldivian boat - ‘a dhoni’) are over-water rooms that stretch into the lagoon and are accessed by a wooden jetty. Each villa has its own private deck and stairway leading directly into the blue waters for a splash in its close quarters.
Under the all-inclusive ‘Fushi plan:’ dine all day at the Element X – OBLU XPERIENCE Ailafushi's main restaurant which features Western, Central Asian, and Far Eastern cuisines complete with salad and dessert counters, buffets, and live-cooking stations. Framed by the turquoise lagoon with bohemian vibes, the X360 Bar is the main bar with a pool. For an additional charge, the Copper Pot truck (meals on wheels), showcases Maldivian fine dining on a starlit beach for gourmet dinners, seafood grills, or specials of the day. Guests wishing to have a unique dining experience can also make a reservation (not included in the Fushi plan) at the ‘Only Blu’ underwater restaurant. Choice of beverages on unlimited regular spirits, beers, and house pour wines are available with one signature cocktail at all outlets. Whilst bottled water and juices, tea, coffee, and carbonated drinks are replenished daily throughout your stay.
Complimentary non-motorized water sports such as stand-up paddleboarding and canoeing can be done at the Water sports center. Also, families with children or teens can visit the Dome – a 15-metre theatre with an entertainment area. There is a large kids club and an over-water gym for guests with varying areas of interest.
The Travel Gallery Take – opened in the 2nd quarter of 2022, this is another great addition to the Atmosphere Group of hotels with a particular focus for families. The two-bedroom duplex villas offer families excellent value for money & the All-Inclusive program should be one of the best in the 4* market.
