Shangri-La Hambantota Resort & Spa overlooks the Southern coast of Sri Lanka and is located along the ancient spice route, the city of Hambantota. Yala and Bundala National Parks are close to the resort and the grounds span 53 hectares making it the largest resort in Sri Lanka. There are 300 rooms, including 21 suites which are surrounded by tropical gardens. An 18 hole golf course, a spa and an artisan village with local arts & crafts exists at the property for all Shangri La guests to enjoy.

For dining a wide variety of vibrant meal options can be found throughout the resort. Bojunhala serves local food, while the other eatery Sra provides a variety of comfort foods. The resort also has a main ballroom, a Kid's club, a 7m high trapeze, a drone flying area, outdoor water park and a children's pool as well as childcare facilities.
