The Hanthana Eco Lodge is approximately 8 KM away from the city of Kandy with the elevation of over 2,500 feet above sea level surrounded by thick forest reserves. Accommodation consists of a Villa and a Cabin set amidst the hills of Hanthana having an eco-friendly design with modern facilities. Each room has a King Bed, air-conditioning and a deck that opens out to the Hanthana mountain range and bathrooms with hot water. The cabin is made out of wood, and is also close to a small spring and the cabin is located separately from the adjoining villa & rooms of the Hanthana Eco Lodge. Furnished a bit sparsely than the rooms of the Eco lodge, the cabin is at the edge of the property next to a forest as a backdrop.
Meals are traditional rice and curry that is served for guests using locally sourced ingredients. A BBQ can be pre-arranged on request if required.
Away from the crowds, Hanthana Eco lodge is a base to explore the Hanthana mountain range. The property is priced economically and we use it for clients who want to connect with nature and because of its proximity to Stage 1 of the Pekoe Trail.
