Bourganvilla Retreat, is a small friendly hotel, located near the Victoria Golf Club, which is around 40 minutes from the Kandy city centre.
The property overlooks a reservoir, which has stunning views, which can be seen from all the rooms and infinity pool. It provides a tailor made experience and has great attention to detail. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the property. It is a great spot to chill out. There are large open views, as floor to ceiling panes of glass surround each room. Wood is used throughout the property and creates a great concept of where Scandinavian design meets Sri Lankan design and culture.
The main house has 3 large bedrooms and a master suite The outhouse has 2 smaller but more intimate rooms situated at the back of the grounds. All rooms are air conditioned and have en-suite bathroom with hair dryer and bathroom accessories. This is a great place to relax near Kandy without being in the city centre.
There is a range of activities which can be done from Bourgainvilla Retreat, which include, cycling, canoeing and trekking through the country side, bird watching and yoga & meditation. There is also the Apsara Spa within the hotel premises, offering ayurvedic treatments.
