Paradise Resort & Spa, is located in Dambulla, in the heart of the Cultural Triangle of Sri Lanka and within easy access to the historical Dambulla caves and temple, Sigiriya Rock Fortress and Pollonaruwa. The ancient heritage site of Anuradhapura is a couple of hours drive away.

The resort offers 67 ecologically appointed villas offering a good standard of accommodation. The resort is surrounded by nature and lush vegetation.
The are 17 Deluxe rooms, measuring 35 square metres, furnished with queen size bed, teak furniture’s, shower with private bathroom, TV, air conditioning, safe box, mini bar, tea and coffee facilities and private veranda. There are 40 Superior Duplex rooms which are a spacious 90 square metres and are perfect for families or guests who love extra space, with a living room on the first floor and bedroom downstairs, they include a king size bed & teak furniture. In additon there are ten garden suites with two interconnecting rooms, which are ideal for families.

The hotel has WIFI facilities. There are three restaurants serving various types of international cuisinse, including a Pizzeria. There is also a separate bar lounge, swimming pool, a state of the art fitness centre & Spa centre.

Newly opened in 2012 the hotel offers good facilities and excellent value for money. and is without a doubt one of the best luxury boutique hotels within the area, as well as being one of the best within the whole of Sri Lanka. The hotel is set just only 5 kilometers from the Sigiriya Rock Fortress. There are 25 individual thatched roof chalets, which are set on a pattern of raised pathways above lake and paddy fields. The chalet types are named under Paddy Dwellings, Marsh Dwellings, Water Dwellings and Forest Dwellings. All chalets have air-condition, flat screen television with satellite and home entertainment system, tea/coffee making facilities, electronic safe, IDD telephone and mini bar.

The Paddy Dwellings are situated above paddy fields and the Marsh Dwellings, are over marshland. The Water Dwellings are placed above a lotus filled lake, providing picturesque views from the outdoor terrace. The Forest Dwellings are in a more secluded area surrounded by the jungles, and are more spacious than the other types of dwellings. It consists of 2 storey villas, with its own pool.
Some of the dwellings have their own private plunge pools, and there is also an infinity pool for all guests. There is also an Ayurvedic Spa. There are various specialty fine dining restaurants which serve international cuisine.
The excursions from Vil Uyana, include visiting the nearby Sigiriya Rock Fortress, and other cultural triangle sites, such as Pollonnaruwa, Dambulla and Anuradhapura. Within the hotel there are bicycles for exploring, as well as vast ideal areas for bird watching.
