Bethany 101 is a family owned six-bedroom villa near the Puttalam Lagoon. Built in 1836 by a family from Puttalam, the villa has been in the family for generations. The villa has been recently refurbished retaining the original architecture, restored antique furniture. Bethany 101 offers well appointed rooms opening out to the rear gardens or lagoon views; sumptuous traditional cuisine from this region; and a laid back, informal setting that feels like home. Bethany 101 can be booked by the room or as a whole villa and can accommodate up to 12 guests.
Of the six ensuite bedroom, three (including the luxurious Master Suite), are accessed from the living room and three are located towards the rear and opens out to a verandah and the landscaped gardens. All rooms have air conditioning. Relax by the poolside garden pavilion. Meals are served on the verandah overlooking the gardens. Bethany 101 takes pride in their cuisine. Meals have to be preordered and we recommend Sri Lankan cuisine and fresh sea food from the lagoon.
