Located bordering a sanctuary which boasts one of the highest densities of leopard in Asia, and home to innumerable wildlife; the resort was named as a tribute to its surroundings. Designed to bring out the locality and all that is endemic to Yala, the resort architecture bears a resemblance to the name 'Wild'.
The hotel reopened in late 2011 after a total refurbishment and today offers a good 4* standard of accommodation. The hotel has 60 jungle chalets and 6 beach chalets all of which have been totally modernised.
All rooms are air conditioned and are equipped with a DVD player, 32" LCD TV, WiFi, mini bar and safety deposit box, telephone with IDD, complimentary tea and coffee making facility, hair dryer.
The hotel is a perfect place to stay when visiting the Yala National Park, being the closest hotel to the park entrance and the large fresh water swimming pool provides a perfect place to relax when not on Safari. In our opinion, the hotel offers the best accommodation currently available close to Yala, but the size of the hotel means that it can attract larger groups and has a less initiate atmosphere.
